After serving in the United States Navy, Parker received his B.S. in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (’83), and his M.Ed from West Georgia College in Carrollton (’88). 

Rev. Brown received his B.S. in History from Tennessee Wesleyan University (2013) and his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary (2018).   

Connie and Dwight Waters do a wonderful job of directing the music for Smoky Mountain Methodist Church. They say: “Music provides everyone the opportunity to participate either by active involvement or just listening. What a gift the Lord has given us with music!
